Global PMI Partners led the integration project in Arcus’ acquisition of Ålborg, FMCG spirits business a carve-out from Pernod Ricard with no major disturbances in sales, supply or customer relationships.
Large-scale PMI management, driving operative closing and managing an integration team of 10 workstreams, approximately 50 resources. Reported to Arcus CFO and also to Arcus’ board committee.
The €103m acquisition consisted of 4 brands with some 100 SKUs and a yearly volume of approx 6M liters or approx 6M products sold yearly and a factory in Ålborg, Denmark.
Drove operative closing issues and managed the weekly closing calls. Overcome several challenges in managing the seller to provide information and take actions necessary for Arcus to receive the business without the need for
Transitional Service Agreements.
A Joint Venture was created before closing to address the Danish market together with a local partner and had no major issue in doing business after closing. Sat on the JV board initially.
